You can delete your MagicTrees.ai account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page describes how, and what happens when you do.
How to Delete Your Account
- In the app. Where available, open your account settings and choose Delete account. You will be asked to confirm.
- By email. Send a message with the subject "Delete my account" to privacy@magictrees.ai from the email address on your account. We may ask you to confirm your identity before proceeding.
If You Signed In With Google, Facebook, or Another Provider
Removing MagicTrees.ai from your provider's connected-apps settings revokes our access but does not delete the data we already hold. To delete that data, follow either step above. If a login provider forwards us a data-deletion request on your behalf, we process it the same way and can provide a confirmation reference on request.
What Is Deleted
- Your account and profile.
- Content you created, including its edit and generation history.
- Preferences, sessions, and authentication records held with Clerk.
- Support conversations, unless we are required to keep them.
What Is Retained, and Why
- Transaction records held by Stripe and by us to the extent required for tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention obligations.
- Aggregated or de-identified data that no longer identifies you.
- Data subject to a legal hold or needed to resolve a dispute.
Timeline
Deletion begins immediately and completes within 30 days. Copies in encrypted backups are purged within 90 days. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
